RED SERIES/FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT

Yesterday's verse of the day confirmed what I was feeling!

After George Floyd was murdered by a police officer and the riots began, I started thinking about the Fruits of the Spirit and how my wife Briana who is an African/American responded to what happened to George and the after math. I knew Briana would never take part in protesting for the black lives matter movement because it’s not of God and because it’s funded by George Soros, the same man who funds Antifa. Briana didn’t share her opinion on social media nor has she been on social media since the death of George Floyd because she’s been fasting and she doesn’t want other people’s actions affecting her in a negative manner. She is basically being a role model that many should follow.

Side Note – In light of the NT, we know God’s few OT commands for warfare will not be renewed today. Jesus fought evil not by killing, but by dying. The Christian’s weapons of warfare are spiritual, not physical (see 2Co 10:4). The NT does not condemn being a soldier to defend your nation, but we should never take up arms on behalf of Christianity nor should we take part in protests funded by evil people. (George Soros)

I have done my best not to share my opinion on FB because of the video’s, photographs, and posts that other people have shared but it’s been hard. It’s hard to believe what people think and how people from all walks of life are acting. It breaks my heart to the point where I became angry but it’s good anger because it made me want to share this photograph, I wrote about in 2016. Click HERE to learn more on how to deal with ANGER

The photograph is called, “The Fruits of the Spirit” 2016

What inspired this photograph is the since of urgency as Christians we must operate through the Holy Spirit and showcase our good fruits to others especially in this day and age where the world we live in is growing darker and darker.

Side note 2020 – How did I know you might ask? The Bible told me so.

As I describe this photograph, take notice of the shadows as they are intensified flowing from left to right; you will see that the shadows begin to lighten as it focuses on the subject and the Fruits of the Spirit that are displayed on my wife’s shirt. I did this by selecting the shadow and using guide lines so that I could create half inch selections and make them two percent lighter than the next. Since Briana isn’t in the middle, I had to figure it out mathematically and through trial and error. The amazing part of the photograph is that the selections blend in with the texture of the photograph so it appears natural.

God’s Word gives an example of what I mean, (see 2 KINGS Chapter 11) King Jehoiada, the king of Judah at the time was a bright light in a dark time. He demonstrated that we can remain faithful to God and His Word even when the culture around us decays and turns rotten.

To further explain, in the book of Galatians Ch. 5 verses 16-26 tells us what we will be facing and how we are to act; “I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Side Note – This is exactly what Briana is doing. Can you imagine if every person in the world who claimed to know Jesus as their

PERSONAL SAVIOR WAS DOING THIS!

Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, Idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passion and desire. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.” May God be with us all as the days get darker! AMEN
